I tried this omri's guide, but... i see no deference.
My fps without this guide, in normal conditions, is about 59-60, but when i play de_aztec or some maps which have more details, better quality of texture or something like that, its 30, so my highest is 60.
When i followed this guide my ping is 60 but almost all the time, only in 1/10 of second change to 259(for example),so all the time it changes, from 40 to 50 to 60 and only sometimes little higher then it but i can't see what number exactly it is, but i think it's only number, cause there aren't any differences.

Medo, i have: NVIDIA FX5200
                   Amd Athlon(xp)
                   1.10 GHz, 768 of Ram.

I appreciate any help, if there is any at all.

hello guys , i did the tutorial by vipoz and it really works :) u can get more fps than before.. ye ye all ok but the main problem is the next one
for Steam users, the file that u will rename ''3dfxgl.dll'' as vipoz posted , too if u will rename it , after that u will join the game a new file will be created with same name and till now i didnt find a way to solve it... i wanted to put the folder in mode ONLY READ but cant do it , so the problem is that it will be always recreated... and i think that it will change the functional work of the 'atioglxx.dll' or the 'nvoglnt.dll'  ...
so if some1 knows something about it please, reply ..  till now i will play on nonsteam for paruni (as in nonsteam it isnt recreated)...

Just for all know , when u play by Steam , if u are in the Steam Community 'Online' u will lose fps when some1 will send u a message and u wont get the best of ur fps , i mean that when u play its better if u go offline (for cw or mixwar) otherways i think that u wont care when u will be playing in paruni 1st...

Every time I run my windows, after i installed steam, there's some error which says some problems with '3dfxgl.dll' or 'atioglxx.dll' as i remember, i didn't know it make some sense with steam  :conf:
I was wondering from where that "error" comes from but i didn't know, firstly i though its something wrong with my system, cause that errors says some problems in c/system... u know.... and i now u say that its actually goes with steam and if we rename it or something like that we will make our fps bigger?

lol clown never saw this kind of error u should try to delete the 3dfxgl , and atiogl too and try to make again the tutorial , maybe it will work..
strange this error , too if i delete/rename the 3dfxgl i didnt get this error... maybe ur windows with a kind of crack wrong dont know dude im just wondering how u can get this error i will try to search about it on google...
about the fps just see the tutorial of vipoz

for Aynen: modern warfare its GUI only like paruni GUI. Now how make very hight fps:
Step 1: GO at the folder of C:windows\system32 and find the file of atioglxx.dll if you are an user AtiRadeon, or nvoglnt.dll if you use NVIDIA. Do right cliques on a file and choose a "copy"

Step 2: GO at the folder of gldrv in your directory of Counter-strike. Into this folder there are two files. Rename "3dfxgl.dll" in what want. Now press Ctrl+v, or right cliques and "Paste". You must see a file which we copied from the folder of "system32".
Step 3: Open the file of "drvmap.txt" by an editor (Notepad), but not use Ms-word ! You will delete everything into this file! Now add a new line: "gldrv/nvoglnt.dll OPENGL Driver" (without "") if for you NVIDIA  "gldrv/atioglxx.dll OPENGL Driver" (without "") if for you AtiRadeon. Save and close this file.

Step 4: Reload your PK or Steam, start Counter-Strike 1.6 and go Options. Go at the book-mark of Video and choose OPENGL, press apply and ok.

Step 5: Open your Counter-Strike 1.6 and open your console "~" then write this there fps_max 9999 fps_modem 9999 and developer 1 and you saw your max fps... I uses fps_max 101 fps_modem 101 and developer 0 no more its chost screenshot...

If you will in exactness follow all steps, you must notice not only the increase of FPS but also improvement of quality of picture.

I follow all 5 steps and I got 900 fps

for Snipi: If you try play with 900 fps you got big lags! Becase paruni server use 160 fps acseleration, if you make more - you lag so hard... UNO use 160 fps and hes say its cool for my cfg. I use 101 fps no more...

just to clear something
more than 100 fps = higher recoil
and some communities call it cheating
anyway 100 fps for everyone it isn't real
cuz it all depend on ur monitor refresh rate
if it's 60 HZ then max FPS is 60

Hello guys , i found a Program that Help your Fps to be more 'fixed'
i mean, before i was ingame in paruni and i was always with 60 ~100 fps on steam... right now i was testing and most part of the time it was 100....
i tested this program and u just configure it for your Resolution of cs ingame and it will be better i think...

i changed the refresh lock of my desktop monitor = 1280x800 and the one of my cs resolution = 800x600 , and seems great right now :)

My laptop has Intel graphic... is there some file to Intel as there is for ATI or NVI????

refreshlock must work for all , but first - update your driver to last one.

Howy you say it yourself my laptop has an intel graphic card. And i must say i dont believe on this driver change. It might work with nonsteam. Steam have patched that when you start cs it automatically take it.

What i found out when i had my notebook, xp works much better with fps.

Now the important thing for howy. Download Rivatuner the latest one, you can shut down vertical sync with this program. Also change 3D settings.

You can't follow it without the images, i tried.. but he shows on the last 3 images What he's actually changing, and he's not writing that.. so i have no idea now!
